Wednesday’s Weekend Outlook, December 9, 2015

House Mountain, Lexington, VA

House Mountain, Lexington, VA

Lots of fog in the Valley this morning, all the morning “commuters” definitely had their lights on. Once the fog lifts we should be in for a perfect December day!

Lots of interesting activities are happening this weekend and now that I’ve looked at the calendar, I might have to add a few more stops to my Saturday route. Let’s start with the Christmas in the Country Tour of Homes Historic Brownsburg, VA (just about 20 mintues or so from Lexington, VA) that will take place both Saturday & Sunday afternoons. There will be four log homes/structures to be featured. You can also stop by the SPCA for their Holiday Open House. They are requesting that you bring some supplies for the animals and while there, enjoy some refreshments with the people that take care of all of the animals at the Rockbridge SPCA. At Renegade Art Studio there are 2 sessions on Saturday for their Fused Glass Play Date – this is just so much fun, if you have not been before, you need to call and make reservations and enjoy a day making a glass project of your very own. On Sunday “The Haunts of House Mountain: Oral Histories, Hollows and Homes” will take place at the House Mountain Inn, right outside of Lexington and should be a very interesting and informative talk and visual guide to our most famed mountain of the area, House Mountain.

It’s time to get those weekend plans finalized, so make sure to contact us today so that we can show you some of the lovely homes we have for sale here in Lexington, Brownsburg and Rockbridge County in general.

Hope you enjoy your week!
