Blue Ridge Mountains - Lexington, VA

Blue Ridge Mountains – Lexington, VA

It sure is a lovely day in Lexington, VA!! Some of the leaves are still hanging on, but not for long! I’m just happy that the sun is shining and the warm weather is still around. There is still plenty of time to get to the Farmer’s Market today, right in the heart of downtown Lexington, on Jefferson Street. The Market is open every Wednesday until Thanksgiving week – so just a few more weeks to enjoy!!

Keeping with the food theme, there are also two cooking classes being offered at Historic Wade’s Mill this week. Click here for more information on those. Wade’s Mill is located between Lexington and Staunton, VA and is a historic working flour mill.

It’s also First Fridays here in Lexington, the art galleries will be open, with live music around the town, such as Blue Lab, music is from 6-9 and is also in downtown Lexington on Randolph Street.

In neighboring Buena Vista,VA, Southern Virginia University is hosting the comedy, “You Can’t Take it With you”

So much to do around the area so make sure to contact us ahead of your visit so that we can line up some properties to see while you are here.

Have a great week and don’t forget to check in on Friday for our Featured Property of the week!
