Lexington and Rockbridge County, VA
Not only is it mid-week, but it’s close to mid-month also – wow!! Fall will be upon us in no time, but right now in downtown Lexington, VA there is a slight breeze in the air as we prepare for a couple days of rain to finish out the week.
Lot’s going on this weekend, all over Rockbridge County, but let’s first start with a reminder that the 19th Annual Hospice Hustle will take place in two weeks, on Saturday, September 19th. The registration for the 5k Night time “Glow Run and Walk” ends September 14th, so register now and make plans to attend this event that benefits our local Rockbridge Area Hospice!
This weekend also has lots in store, there is Music in the Garden at Boxerwood on Friday night. The Rockbridge Beer and Wine Festival is also taking place on Saturday the 12th, at Lime Kiln Theater. Or maybe you want to put on your dancing shoes and head to neighboring Buena Vista for the Annual Rockbridge Mountain Music and Dance Festival on Friday and Saturday nights.
