Lexington, VA Fall Activities
Beautiful fall weather here in downtown Lexington, VA. The air is crisp, perfect for all of the outside activities that are happening in and around Lexington and Rockbridge County, VA.
As Halloween approaches, there are many scary, and not so scary things to do, such as the Haunting Tales – Lexington Ghost Tour – these tours happen every Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings at 8:00 with tours on the hour and half hours until 10:30. The Natural Bridge Caverns is also offering a Lantern Tour, every Friday, Saturday and Sunday in October from 4-5pm.
Maybe something a little faster pace is what you are looking for…on Saturday the 2016 Chessie Trail Half Marathon & 5K will take place. This run will take place along our Chessie Trail, which parallels the scenic Maury River along the former Chesapeake and Ohio rail lines. This trail also connects Lexington with Buena Vista.
