Beautiful day here in downtown Lexington, VA! I hope the weather stays this way thru the weekend because we have another jam packed lineup of activities. Once again we have a connection to this weekend’s happenings it’s Washington and Lee’s Alumni Weekend, May 1-2, and Scott Baker, class of 81 is an Associate Broker here at JF Brown Real Estate! Sure do hope Scott gets to enjoy some of the alumni activities planned.
First Fridays is also happening here in downtown Lexington, VA with the art galleries being open with their art walk. What a way to wind up the work week!
The Hunter/Jumper Horse Show is continuing at the VA Horse Center, which is right outside of Lexington, VA in Rockbridge County. Just a few minutes from town.
Other happenings in the local area would be Guy Carawan’s Bluegrass jam, April 30-May 2. This music jam will take place in the lovely neighboring town of Buena Vista, VA. If you are music lover, this is the place to be!
How about Sunday’s on the Deck at the Rockbridge Vineyard, located in Raphine, VA, in the lovely Shenandoah Valley? Here you can enjoy wine while listening to some music all while relaxing at the vineyard site enjoying the lovely outdoors.
