Lets start with the Rockbridge Pie Festival, which will take place at Brewbaker Field from 12-7 on Saturday. Make sure to get there early to secure a pie to take home! Also on Saturday is the Rockbridge Fall Farm Day, which takes place between Lexington and Buena Vista, VA. Or maybe a trip to the Horse Center is order for the weekend for the The Baroque Equestrian Games and Festival, click here for more information.
As I mentioned last week, the 19th Annual Hospice Hustle will take place on Saturday evening. If you haven’t seen the Glow Run, make sure to head on out to the Lexington Golf and Country Club to support this worthy cause!
The weekend is not over because on Sunday you can head on to Natural Bridge Station for RARA’s (Rockbridge Area Relief Association) presentation of “A Place at the Table,” a documentary explaining why so many go hungry in a country with more than enough food to go round. Make sure to take a can of non-perishable food for your entry.
