After teaching for a number of years, Toni joined Jim in real estate and has been involved in every aspect of the real estate profession for almost 2 decades. In 2013 she was elected to the Virginia Association of Realtors Board of Directors, of which there are only 27 statewide, representing over 27,000 Realtors in Virginia.
She is a graduate of Sweet Briar College, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics, and she holds a Masters in Education from Lynchburg College. Her spare time is occupied by knitting, riding, caring for 6 horses, a donkey, four dogs, two cats, and Jim. She founded in Lexington an alternative Christmas gift giving program, “Glorious Gifts”, which supports various local and a few international charities. It has become a very successful and popular way to give to those in need. She is also committed to voluntary land conservation, the wise stewardship of open space, and supporting the family farm way of life. She and Jim have enjoyed renovating a large bank barn, an old farm house, and saving and rebuilding a 200+ year old chestnut log cabin.
