Lee is a native of Rockbridge Baths and can trace his heritage back to the early settlers of the area. After graduating from Episcopal High School in Alexandria, Lee returned to Lexington to attend Washington and Lee University. Having then graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and with four years of lacrosse under his belt, Lee earned his Master’s in Education from the University of Virginia and spent several years teaching and coaching in the Washington, D.C. and Richmond areas. Lee and his wife, Jess, then migrated back to the Lexington area where they spend their summers directing Camp Maxwelton for Boys and Camp Lachlan for Girls in Rockbridge Baths. He continues his involvement with youth lacrosse, and in his free time Lee enjoys hunting, fly fishing, farming, and gardening. He and Jess reside in an old farmhouse and spend as much time as possible cooking together and enjoying the great outdoors.
