Wednesday’s Weekend Outlook here in Lexington and Rockbridge County, VA

Enjoy the summer in Lexington, VA

Enjoy the summer in Lexington, VA

Summertime and the living is easy here in Lexington, VA today. The sun is shining right now even though we are calling for rain again today, hopefully just a passing shower to not interfere with the Rockbridge County Fair, which starts tonight and runs through the weekend. Looks like some added events this year so should be a fun time for the whole family!

The Lexington/Rockbridge area is not lacking in music, that’s for sure! Looks like on Friday, Devils Backbone Outpost will be hosting live music.  Friday’s Alive will also be taking place in downtown Lexington, and on Saturday, Lime Kiln Theater is featuring the Seldom Scene in concert, what a lovely place to see and hear a live concert!!

Lots of other activities happening too – such as the cooking class at Wade’s Mill. Wade’s Mill is a c. 1750 flour mill that is still in operation and is located right outside of Lexington in Raphine, VA. Take a tour and learn some tricks of the trades “From the Tuscan Garden”

Another fun activity, that I myself have enjoyed, is the glass making at Renegade Studio. For this you will need reservations, so why not sign up for a class and leave with a beautiful glass creation of your own?

Sure hope everyone is enjoying their summer as much as I am and remember if you would like to take a look at property, please contact us ahead of time to set up some homes to view. Hope you enjoy the rest of the week!
