Staying Warm in Lexington, VA

Staying Warm in Lexington, VA

Hello from breezy and downright cold Historic Lexington, VA. Last night we had stronger winds but I think that has calmed down for the day, but still not expecting the temperature to rise much above 34 degrees…burr…. The sun is shining, which always makes for a better day!!

I have several activities for the week and weekend that I would like to mention- and they are all indoor!! On the campus of W&L, the Lenfest Center will host The Sinatra Century, starting at 7:00.  Looks like lots of good music to keep you entertained for the evening!!

Also happening tonight at the Rockbridge Regional Library there will be a book signing for House Mountain Affair. The author, Harry Warner will discuss as well as sign books, starting at 7:00.  I am excited to get a copy of this book, as House Mountain is the majestic mountain that I can see if I step outside my downtown Lexington, VA office! It’s definitely a local treasure!!

The Stonewall Jackson House will also be open this weekend for tours. Why not come check out downtown Lexington, VA this weekend? There are plenty of shops to duck into as well as restaurants where you can enjoy a delicious meal and warm up at the same time.

We would love to show you around our lovely town, please contact us prior to your arrival as our office is open by appointment only during the weekend hours.

Hope your week is enjoyable and that you stay warm!!
